Have a sense of urgency and take appropriate measures against heat stroke! / Iwaki Onahama Vegetable Garden Co., Ltd.

Quickly detect and take measures against the greenhouse conditions in summer when the risk of heat stroke increases! Case studies from the farm site / NETIS registered products.

NETIS Registration Number: KT-220185-A In agriculture, especially in summer, high temperatures and humidity are prevalent in places like greenhouses. This is a case study of Iwaki Onahama Vegetable Garden Co., Ltd., which has a vast greenhouse and has implemented the environmental monitoring cloud "SisMil." Before the introduction of SisMil, measures against heatstroke were already in place, but there were still instances of health issues caused by the heat. After implementing the system, the time required for measurements was reduced, allowing for a quick understanding of the on-site conditions, and enabling stronger measures against heatstroke. [Challenges] - Greenhouses become excessively hot in summer, and previous heatstroke measures had limitations. There were times when work had to be suspended for the safety of the workers. - WBGT has been measured as a means of preventing heatstroke, but it required manpower and time for measurements, and data utilization was limited. - The criteria for deciding on extended breaks or work interruptions were unclear. We want to utilize WBGT more to establish standards that reflect actual conditions. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

For the safety of students! Measures against heatstroke in educational settings / Todai-ji Gakuen

Timely sharing of accurate heat index with club activity advisors. Using the reliable data obtained, we will create a unique guideline for the academy.

The safety of students is the top priority in educational settings. This is a case study of the introduction of the environmental monitoring cloud "SisMil" at Todai-ji Gakuen Junior and Senior High School in Nara Prefecture, which has a national reputation as a prestigious school. News of accidents due to extreme heat in educational settings continues to persist, and there are often challenges in implementing heatstroke prevention measures, particularly in physical education classes and extracurricular activities where the risk is higher. After implementing this system, WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) is measured and shared in a timely manner, enabling early responses among faculty and staff. Additionally, we were able to utilize the measured data to embark on creating unique heatstroke prevention guidelines for the school. [Challenges] - Due to the specific geographical environment, the school grounds become abnormally hot during the summer. This raised concerns about heatstroke, especially for sports clubs. - Each advisor of the various clubs was measuring WBGT individually, and the measurement methods of simple measuring devices raised doubts, resulting in a lack of recorded data. - There was a need to create unique guidelines for more reliable heatstroke prevention. *For more details, please feel free to contact us. https://www.oakis.co.jp/inquiry/sismil/form.cgi

Clear alerts using signage! / Daiwa Royal Golf

To ensure that customers can enjoy golf with peace of mind, we utilize signage for clear warnings / NETIS registered product.

NETIS Registration Number: KT-220185-A This is a case study of Daiwa Royal Golf Co., Ltd., which is working to ensure safe golf play even during the summer by implementing the environmental monitoring cloud "SisMil." In response to the increasing risk of heatstroke due to recent extreme heat, the company has been exploring measures that incorporate the heat index (WBGT). After the system was introduced, real-time measured values were displayed on signage. This made it easy for everyone at the golf course to understand and raised awareness of heatstroke prevention. [Challenges] - Recognizing the responsibility to address the increasing risk of heatstroke at golf courses due to recent extreme heat and to ensure customer safety. - Although various measures such as selling preventive goods and providing ice have been taken, it is not sufficient on its own. - Increasing customers' awareness of prevention and improving employees' consciousness of caring for customers is necessary. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.
